Melissa Garcia is an associate attorney at Sasser, Cestero & Roy, P.A., where her practice focuses entirely on marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, paternity, post-judgment modifications, and enforcement actions. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Garcia practiced family law throughout her entire career at a family law firm in Fort Lauderdale.
Ms. Garcia is an active member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Section.
Ms. Garcia earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. While attending Nova Southeastern, Ms. Garcia interned for the Honorable Judge Robert Diaz of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court, participated in the NSU Children’s and Families’ Law Clinic, and took part in multiple mock trials throughout her time at Nova.
